Schedules and milestones The schedule is as follows: Day 1: Sydney to Torquay The day begins with a journey from Sydney to Torquay. It is close to 10 hours drive. Start early. Stop at several gas stations for breaks.Lunch near Canberra.Take the spirit of New South Wales while driving through the varied landscapes. Night stay at Torquay. Day 2: Torquayto St Kilda beach Start early. Breakfast at hotel.St Kilda beach is the most famous beach of Melbourne (Wilson 2013). 1.5 hours drive from Torquay. Visit the beach, St. Kilda Pier and the penguin colony. Dinner at a local restaurant (NRMA Travel 2017).Drive to the hotel near Apollo Bay, 2 hours 45 minsdrive from St. Kilda beach. Day 3: VisitApollo Bay A relaxing day.Breakfast at hotel.Visit to the Great Otway national Park, rolling green hills and tranquil beaches.Explore the famous seafood village. Drive to 12 Apostles, 1 hour 40 min from Apollo Bay (Tourism Australia, 2017). Dinner to a nearbyrestaurant. Check into the hotel. Day 4: Twelve Apostles to Werribee One of the most famous landmarks of Australia. It is the limestone stackscollection off the shore to the Port Campbell National Park. It is spectacular landmark on the sides of the Great Ocean Road in Victoria. Initially there were 12stacks, from which the name comes. But over time with erosion, four have collapsed, last one in 2005 (Twelveapostleslodgewalk.com.au. 2017).Breakfast at hotel.Lunch at a local restaurant. Drive to Werribee for check into hotel.Dinner near hotel. Day 5: Werribee to Gippsland Lake Start early for Gippsland Lake. 3.5 hours drive to the location. Breakfast at hotel.Enjoy the beautiful landscapes on road. This is a collection of lakes, lagoons and marshes in the east of Gippsland, Victoria (Visitgreatoceanroad.org.au 2017). Spent plenty of time, explore and take pictures. Lunch at a local restaurant.Start for Sydney.Stopover at Bombala. Have dinner and check in to the hotel. Day 6: Bombala to Sydney. Breakfast at hotel.Start for Sydney.6 hours drive to reach Sydney. Enjoy the drive. In fact, road trips tend to be more unorganized in comparison to the trips made by air or trains and there lies the excitement of uncertainty that makes such trips even more special. On the other hand, road trip with a group of friends is even more thrilling as it gives the chance to explore things together (Perrett 2016). However, the trip must be conducive to the availability of the condition of the participants.
